My name is Sarah Esterline Sampson, and I'm running for Zionsville Town Council District 4. My husband Jon Sampson and I have been married for 30 years, and we have raised 10 children who have graduated from, or are still in, the Zionsville Community Schools. Jon and I moved here in 2006 when we decided to return to Indiana to be near my family. We deliberately chose to raise our children in Zionsville and have them attend the ZCS public schools.
About Me:
I loved growing up in the Northwest corner of Indianapolis on my family’s nursery, Eagle Creek Nursery. I went to Pike High School and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Business Administration degree as an accountancy major. I became a CPA and worked as an auditor for the Big Four. I understand financial reports and can help with financial considerations and decisions.
I became a stay-at-home parent after having my first child. When the opportunity came to relocate and return here, we were happy to put down roots in Zionsville. We have a high school junior, 9th grader, 6th grader, and our youngest is in 4th grade. The school system and its wonderful teachers and administrators have served our children well and provided many extracurricular activities for them to enjoy. I have been engaged in my children's education from the start, and it has helped me meet a lot of great people here in Zionsville.
I want to continue to pay attention and be actively involved. Town decisions and developments are extremely relevant to our family and have been since 2006. There are a lot of hot topics in our town, and I am ready to lean in and listen to our community. I hope to be elected and known as a trusted leader and representative of District 4 here in Zionsville.
